The Redmi 10 Prime will launch in India on September 3 and Xiaomi Global VP has confirmed that it will pack a 6,000mAh battery. The phone will also come with reverse wired charging. The Redmi 10 Prime, launched globally last month, could be the Redmi 10 Prime.
Chinese phone company Xiaomi, bought by Chinese smartphone maker BBK Electronics, launched the Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 Plus in India last month. The Redmi 10 and 10 Plus Redmi 10 variants released in May this year are getting the cheapest (Redmi 10 Prime) update. When the phone launches in India, it will be available in China at the same price.
The Redmi 10 Prime, which will come in two variants (3GB RAM with 32GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage), will have a 5.84-inch HD + display and a waterdrop notch. It will be the first phone with a 6,000mAh battery. The display will come with Dolby Vision and Cinematic Experience. The phone will be given a battery of 3340mAh and will be shipped with 16GB of inbuilt storage.
On the front, the Redmi 10 Prime will have a triple camera setup with a 40MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the front. It will run Android 9 Pi, Xiaomi's own MIUI 10 and will come in two color options, gray and red.
The phone will also get a dedicated Google Assistant button, a speaker, an LED flash, a USB Type-C port, an inbuilt loudspeaker, an IP / 5 / IP rating and an FM radio. It will also have an IP68 rating certificate.
The smartphone will be manufactured by Xiaomi's newly-announced "sub-manufacturing partner" -Wistron Corporation, which makes the Redmi Note 7 smartphone in India.
The Redmi 10 Prime will be available in China, with a launch date of July 26. We will not be able to confirm this until the launch date in India is near, it is safe to say that we will not have to wait long for the Redmi 10 Prime to be launched in the country.
